Dr. Nona Birjandy is a dynamic dentist and psychotherapist who is deeply committed to holistic patient care. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Shahid Beheshti University in Iran, where she developed a keen interest in patient education to empower individuals to make informed decisions about their oral health.
Recognizing the vital link between psychological well-being and dental care, she pursued a psychotherapy certification from the Transformational Arts College in Canada, enabling her to address the behavioural and emotional aspects of oral health. Additionally, she holds a Dental Office Management Certificate from the University of Toronto, which equips her to oversee and enhance the operational aspects of dental practice.
As a Dental Office Practice Manager and Treatment Coordinator across three offices, Dr. Birjandy seamlessly integrates clinical excellence, compassionate counselling, and efficient management to deliver comprehensive care. She is an active leader in her professional community, serving as the Chair of the Social Events and Cultural Committee of the Iranian Ontario Dental Association, where she fosters connection and collaboration among dental professionals.
Beyond her professional life, Dr. Birjandy is passionate about giving back. She is an active member of the Naya Sofia Haiti Charity Foundation in Canada and serves as the North American Authorized Manager for the Ghadir Charity Foundation of Iran, supporting dental and humanitarian outreach efforts.
A devoted wife and mother, Dr. Birjandy balances her busy career with a love of reading, writing, and exploring the world. From adventurous pursuits like skydiving to volunteering her dental skills in underserved communities worldwide, she embraces every opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
